Vivo launched its T5 Lite 5G smartphone in the Indian market today, and now, Realme has also introduced its latest C-series smartphone – the Realme C100x – in the country. While the Vivo device uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, the newly launched Realme C100x is a 4G smartphone powered by the Unisoc T7250 processor. Speaking of its major highlight, the device packs a massive 8,000mAh battery with 45W SUPERVOOC charging support.

The newly launched Realme C100x smartphone features a 6.8″ LCD display that supports an HD+ resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels, up to 120Hz refresh rate, upto 900nits of peak brightness and a maximum touch sampling rate of 240Hz. Panda MN228 glass protection has also been given.

Under the hood, the smartphone uses the Unisoc T7250 chipset and comes paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. Support for up to 12GB of Dynamic RAM has also been offered, along with a memory card slot for further storage expansion.

Speaking more, the device is backed by a massive 8,000mAh typical-capacity battery, and supports up to 45W SUPERVOOC charging, along with third-party PPS, VOOC, PD, and QC charging protocols. Up to 6W reverse wired charging support has also been given, allowing users to charge compatible devices using USB OTG and a supported USB Type-C cable.

As per the brand, the smartphone can offer more than three days of light usage, over 13 hours of gaming, more than 17 hours of navigation, and over 20 hours of video streaming on a complete charge. Even with just 1% battery remaining, it is claimed to provide more than eight hours of standby time or over 30 minutes of calling.

Moving on to its cameras, the Realme C100x sports a 50MP AI primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, 76° field of view, five-element lens, and autofocus support. For selfies and video calls, a 5MP front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture and 77° field of view has been provided.

The rear camera supports Photo, Video, Portrait, Night, Pro, Panorama, Slow Motion, Dual-view Video, Time-lapse, Sticker, Hypertext, Hi-Res, and Google Lens modes. It can record videos at up to 1080p resolution at 30fps, while slow-motion recording is supported at 720p/120fps.

Regarding its durability, the smartphone comes with military-grade shock resistance, MIL-STD-810H testing, and up to two-metre drop protection. Realme’s ArmorShell protection, reinforced corners, airbag cushioning, a strengthened mid-frame, and a drop-resistant case have also been offered.

The device additionally features an IP64-rated dust and water-resistant body, along with heavy-rain resistance. Rain Touch Mode is also supported, allowing users to operate the display with wet hands, oily fingers, or gloves. The brand claims that it improves touch accuracy by up to 35%.

Also to add, the Realme C100x comes with a Pulse Light for visual notifications. Users can choose between nine color options and five breathing speeds, while the light can also interact with music playback, incoming calls, and camera countdowns.

Several AI features such as AI Editor, AI Eraser, AI Clear Face, AI Smart Image Matting, Circle to Search, and one-press access to Google Gemini are also being offered with this smartphone. Users will be able to launch Gemini by pressing and holding the power button, and the shortcut can be configured through the Dynamic Button settings.

An AI Outdoor Mode has also been introduced, which can maximize the screen brightness, increase ringtone and notification volume, extend the auto screen-off time to up to 30 minutes, and prioritize network performance for selected applications.

Speaking of its network-related features, AI NetPilot is claimed to improve signal strength by up to 85%, video smoothness on the subway by up to 79%, and video-calling performance in crowded areas by up to 30%.

For gaming, the Realme C100x supports up to 60fps in MOBA titles. The company claims that the device can maintain smooth 60fps gameplay for up to three hours, with an average tested frame rate of 59.89fps.

The smartphone measures approximately 166.5 × 78.2 × 8.8mm and weighs around 219gm. It features a smooth 2.5D curved design and comes with both a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and facial recognition support.

Dual nano-SIM cards, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C, USB OTG, Wi-Fi Display, and WLAN tethering are its listed connectivity features. A 3.5mm headphone jack has also been provided. However, 5G, eSIM, and NFC connectivity are not supported.

On the software side, the smartphone runs on Realme UI based on the Android 16 operating system.

Pricing and Availability

The Realme C100x has been introduced in a single 4GB/64GB memory configuration and carries a special launch price of INR 14,499, which by the way is valid till July 20th 2026, 11:59 PM. Additionally, buyers will also be eligible for up to three months of no-cost EMI on the smartphone.
