POCO recently confirmed the battery specifications of the upcoming POCO X8 series smartphones, and now, some additional details concerning the devices have been revealed via their updated Flipkart microsite.

POCO X8 5G – Newly-Shared Details
As per what has been shared on the microsite, the upcoming POCO X8 5G smartphone will be offered in Black, Frost White, and Fiery Orange colour options.
On the durability side, the device is confirmed to arrive with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, offering protection against dust and high-pressure water jets. The smartphone will also feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for its display.
POCO X8 5G – Colour Options
Moreover, the device has received an SGS five-star certification and is claimed to offer resistance against crushing, drops, and bending. POCO further claims that the smartphone has been drop-tested from a height of up to 3 metres.
The POCO X8 5G will also feature an Underwater Camera Mode and support submersion in water at a depth of up to 2 metres for 30 minutes.
Coming to its display specs, the device will feature a 6.83″ 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness at 25% APL. The display will further support HDR10+, 12-bit colour depth, and 68 billion colours.
Other display-related features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, TÜV Triple Eye Protection, and Wet Touch Display 2.0. The smartphone will also come with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision support.
POCO X8 Power 5G – Newly-Shared Details
Moving on to the POCO X8 Power 5G, the upcoming device is also confirmed to feature an Underwater Camera Mode. It will support submersion at a depth of up to 2 metres for 30 minutes and allow users to capture both photos and videos underwater.
Its display specs are similar to that of the POCO X8 5G, and the smartphone will feature a 6.83″ 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also revealed to offer up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness at 25% APL, along with HDR10+, 12-bit colour depth, and 68 billion colours.
POCO X8 5G Power – IP Rating
Furthermore, the POCO X8 Power 5G will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, TÜV Triple Eye Protection, Wet Touch Display 2.0, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Vision support.
Regarding their launch, the POCO X8 5G and POCO X8 Power 5G smartphones are set to break their cover in the Indian market on September 4th, 2026. More details concerning the upcoming devices are expected to be revealed ahead of their official launch.
