A few days back, we came across details concerning the upcoming POCO M8 Power 5G smartphone, which was expected to make its way to the Indian market soon. The same has now seemingly been confirmed, as the device’s dedicated Flipkart microsite has gone live in the country. The first teaser also hints that a massive battery will be one of the major highlights of the upcoming smartphone.

POCO M8 Power 5G – India Launch Teased
As per the teaser poster listed on Flipkart, POCO is promoting the upcoming smartphone with the tagline, “Ready for Big Battery. Non-Stop Entertainment?” This clearly hints that the POCO M8 Power 5G will be backed by a large battery, although its exact capacity has not yet been officially revealed.
Speaking more, the teaser offers a partial glimpse of the upcoming device in an Orange-like colour choice. Its rear camera module also appears similar to that of the Redmi Note 17 5G (China), further supporting the earlier reports that the POCO M8 Power could arrive as a rebranded version of the Redmi smartphone in India.
Regarding its battery, previous leaks have claimed that the Indian variant could pack a massive 8,000mAh unit. However, POCO has not yet confirmed this specification, and it would therefore be better to wait for the upcoming teasers before reaching a conclusion.
Now that the first Flipkart teaser has gone live, the brand is expected to gradually reveal more details concerning the smartphone’s battery, display, processor, cameras, design, and launch timeline in the coming days. These official teasers should also clear the remaining doubts surrounding its connection with the Redmi Note 17 5G.
