Yesterday, POCO officially announced that the POCO F9 series will be launching on 1st September, and as expected, the brand has already started teasing the key details of this upcoming series.
Today, the brand has announced that the upcoming POCO F9 series models will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset family.

The POCO F9 Pro could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, while the POCO F9 Ultra could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V series SoC, just like their Chinese counterparts, the Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max, respectively.
The POCO F9 Ultra is revealed to arrive in Dark Cherry colour, which features a textured glass fibre finish with refined large rounded corners, delivering a premium matte look. The POCO F9 Pro comes in Aurora Green colour, which features a full-panel luminous design on the back panel that, once exposed to sunlight or indoor light, emits a soft, uniform, and sustained glow in darkness.
