Xiaomi officially unveiled the Redmi K100 Pro series in its home market China yesterday, comprising the Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max smartphones. Interestingly, some rumours have also suggested that Xiaomi could bring one of the smartphones from the series to the Indian market as well, though neither of the two devices has been spotted by us on the Indian BIS certification database so far.
If either of these devices does make an appearance on BIS, we will surely be sharing that update as well.

Redmi K100 Pro – Specs and Pricing
Starting with the Redmi K100 Pro, the smartphone features a 6.59″ display with support for up to a 185Hz refresh rate. The panel makes use of the new M11 luminescent material and is claimed to offer up to 4,500 nits of brightness over 25% of the screen area.
It also features a Full-RGB lossless pixel arrangement with claimed 2K-level clarity and Xiaomi Qingshan Eye Protection 4.0.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chipset, built using a third-generation 3nm process and featuring an Oryon dual prime-core architecture. It is paired with the AI discrete display chip D2, while the device is claimed to have achieved an AnTuTu V11 score of 4,095,819.
Redmi K100 Pro SPecs
Coming to the battery, the Redmi K100 Pro packs a massive 8,580mAh battery with 26% silicon content and an energy density of 945Wh/L. It supports 100W wired charging with the 100W PPS protocol, 50W wireless charging, 27W wired reverse charging, and 22.5W wireless reverse charging.
Speaking of its cameras, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 200MP main camera supporting lossless 1x and 2x zoom. It can capture images at up to 16,384 × 12,288 pixels. A 2.5x floating telephoto camera with a 60mm equivalent focal length is also present and supports tele-macro photography from a minimum focusing distance of 10cm.
Other features include IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, T1+ signal-enhancement chip, NFC, symmetrical stereo speakers with Sound by Bose tuning, and a quad-curved wrapped metal middle frame.
The Redmi K100 Pro is offered in Cabernet Red, White, Black, and a Firefly Chasing Light special edition. The latter comes with a customisable illuminated panel at the rear.
Speaking of its pricing, the 12GB/256GB variant is priced at CNY 3,699, while the 16GB/256GB variant costs CNY 4,099. The 12GB/512GB model is priced at CNY 4,299, whereas the top-end 16GB/512GB variant costs CNY 4,699. Xiaomi’s official China website also lists the Redmi K100 Pro with a starting price of CNY 3,699.
Redmi K100 Pro Max – Specs and Pricing
Coming to the Redmi K100 Pro Max, the smartphone gets a larger 6.9″ display with the same 185Hz refresh rate and new M11 luminescent material. It also offers up to 4,500 nits of brightness over 25% of the display area, Full-RGB lossless pixel arrangement, claimed 2K-level clarity, and Xiaomi Qingshan Eye Protection 4.0.
For gaming, the display supports up to a 4,800Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and 480Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate.
Under the hood, the Pro Max variant is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and is paired with the AI discrete display chip D2.
Redmi K100 Pro Max Spes
The device is backed by an even larger 9,070mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, 27W wired reverse charging, and 22.5W wireless reverse charging.
Speaking of its cameras, the Redmi K100 Pro Max features a 200MP main camera with lossless 1x and 2x zoom. It is joined by a 50MP periscope telephoto camera offering up to 100x digital zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 17mm equivalent focal length and f/2.4 aperture.
Another highlight of the Pro Max model is its 2.1-channel stereo audio setup, comprising dual 1115D full-range speaker units along with a 1620 bass unit. The audio system has also been tuned by Bose.
The smartphone features a quad-curved wrapped metal middle frame and is offered in Cabernet Red, Flowing Gold White, Wind Chaser Blue, and Black colour options.
Regarding its pricing, the 12GB/256GB variant is priced at CNY 4,199, while the 16GB/256GB variant costs CNY 4,599. The 12GB/512GB and 16GB/512GB variants are priced at CNY 4,799 and CNY 5,199 respectively, whereas the top-end 16GB/1TB model costs CNY 5,999. Xiaomi’s official China website confirms a starting price of CNY 4,199 for the Redmi K100 Pro Max.
