Philips has a new smartphone launch lined up for the Indian market called the Philips S7221, as its microsite has now gone live on Amazon India.

Philips S7221 – Amazon India Microsite and Key Specifications
On the Amazon India platform, an upcoming Philips smartphone which carries the model number ‘S7221’ has been listed with the ‘Launching Soon’ status under Amazon Specials. A ‘Notify Me’ option is also pointed out to be made available, confirming that the device will be sold through the e-commerce platform following its launch.
Speaking of the design, the Philips S7221 features a flat display with a centrally placed punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The smartphone also appears to have flat side frames.
At the rear, the device features a rectangular camera module which houses two vertically aligned camera sensors and a circular LED flash. The Philips branding can also be seen on the lower portion of its rear panel. The microsite showcases the smartphone in Silver, White and Black colour options.
Coming to its specifications, the Philips S7221 will feature a display with a 120Hz refresh rate and support 5G connectivity. The smartphone will be offered with 6GB and 8GB RAM options, along with 128GB and 256GB storage variants.
Speaking more, the device will be equipped with a 64MP AI rear camera and a 16MP front-facing camera. It is also revealed to feature dual stereo speakers with Ultra Max sound.
Furthermore, the upcoming Philips S7221 will carry an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.
It is not sure when Philips will be launching the S7221 smartphone in India or how much it will cost. However, with its microsite now live on Amazon India, its launch could be taking place soon.
