Oppo Pad 5 Pro and Oppo Pad Mini with 13.2″ 3.4K/8.8″ 2.5K displays, Snapdragon 8 series chipsets, 13380mAh/8000mAh batteries announced in China
The Chinese consumer electronics maker – Oppo has now introduced two new tablets – the Oppo Pad 5 Pro and Oppo Pad Mini in its home market China. The brand has equipped both these devices with flagship-level specifications, which will be discussed in detail below.

Oppo Pad 5 Pro (OPD2511) – Specs and Features
The Oppo Pad 5 Pro tablet features a large 13.2″ 3.4K (3392 x 2400 pixels) Ultra-Clear OLED display with a 7:5 aspect ratio, and it supports up to 144Hz refresh rate along with a 540Hz touch sampling rate. Additionally, the display offers up to 1000 nits peak brightness, and supports Dolby Vision as well as HDR Vivid. It is also backed by an eight-speaker system for an enhanced audio experience.
Furthermore, the display comes with TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Care 3.0 certification, uses DC dimming to reduce flickering, and filters blue light at the hardware level. It also features auto-adjust colour and brightness capabilities based on ambient lighting conditions.

In terms of battery, the device packs a massive 13,380mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. Oppo claims that it can deliver up to 20 hours of video playback or 16 hours of video conferencing.
Speaking of its performance, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, and is claimed to offer smooth performance for up to 72 months. The device is also said to bring a 52% improvement in benchmark performance compared to its predecessor.
On the camera side, it features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.
For gaming, the tablet is capable of delivering stable performance with reduced network latency. It can run major MOBA titles for up to 8.8 hours, while maintaining near 120FPS performance at controlled temperatures. It also supports high-resolution gaming modes, including 3.4K at 144Hz for FPS games and 2.7K at 120Hz for open-world titles.
Additionally, the tablet supports accessories such as the OPPO Pencil 3 Pro with haptic feedback and a magnetic keyboard, making it suitable for productivity and creative tasks.
Notably, it supports seamless connectivity features including phone integration with Android and iPhone, NFC one-touch connection, and dual-headphone audio sharing. Other key specs include Wi-Fi 7, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, and the absence of SIM card support.
Oppo Pad Mini (OPD2515) – Specs and Features
Coming to the Oppo Pad Mini, it features a smaller 8.8″ AMOLED 2.5K (2520 x 1680 pixels) display with a 60Hz to 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. The display has ultra-thin 2.99mm bezels, and offers up to 800 nits typical brightness and 1600 nits peak brightness. It also supports up to 240Hz touch sampling rate.
Unlike the Pro model, it also comes in an optional soft light (anti-glare) screen variant, aimed at improving viewing comfort. However, it is equipped with a dual-speaker setup instead of eight speakers.
In terms of performance, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. It is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, and has achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score of around 3.21 million.

On the battery side, it packs a smaller 8000mAh battery with 67W fast wired charging support. Oppo claims that the device can deliver up to 19.5 hours of video playback and up to 22.7 hours of reading time.
For optics, it features the same 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera as the Pro model.
Additionally, the tablet supports stylus input and offers multiple AI-based features such as note conversion, sketch enhancement, and smart note-taking tools. Connectivity features remain similar to the Pro variant.
Other key specs include facial recognition support, but there is no fingerprint scanner on the device.
Pricing and Availability
Regarding the pricing, the Oppo Pad 5 Pro and Oppo Pad Mini are currently available for pre-reservations in China.
The open sales for the Oppo Pad 5 Pro will begin on April 24, while the Oppo Pad Mini will go on sale starting April 30 via the official Oppo China website.
