OPPO has launched the vanilla OPPO K15 smartphone in its home market of China, making it the third model in the K15 series. The lineup already consists of the OPPO K15 Pro and OPPO K15 Pro+ smartphones.

OPPO K15 – Specifications and Features
Starting with its design, the OPPO K15 features an integrated flat-camera design with minimal camera protrusion. It also comes with a breathing light which supports custom lighting effects.
The device has received an IP69 dust and water resistance rating, and it is also pointed out to have passed eight military-standard durability tests.
For its display, the OPPO K15 features a 6.59″ flat flexible AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution of 2760 × 1256 pixels, a pixel density of 460 PPI, and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.4%. It supports intelligent switching between 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz refresh rates and offers a default maximum brightness of 600 nits and a global peak brightness of 1,200 nits.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 SUPER processor, and the device also uses OPPO’s Tidal Engine for chip-level optimisation and comes equipped with a new-generation Gale cooling engine. It runs on ColorOS 16 and offers AI-based system smoothness features.

The OPPO K15 uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, while storage expansion is not supported. Its connectivity features include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB 2.0 through a USB Type-C port.
For its cameras, the OPPO K15 comes with three 50MP sensors in total, consisting of two rear cameras and one front-facing camera.
The smartphone is backed by a large 8,000mAh Glacier battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC Flash Charging and 80W UFCS Fusion Fast Charging. Also, the phone has a dedicated battery energy-management chip.
Not just for battery, but it also features OPPO Shanhai Communication technology, a Shanhai RF antenna, and a weak-network acceleration engine, which are meant to improve connectivity in weak-network conditions.
The smartphone supports SBC, AAC, LDAC, aptX, aptX HD, and LHDC 5.0 Bluetooth audio codecs. It does not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, but supports digital USB Type-C earphones. Type-C analogue earphones are not supported.
The device supports dual Nano-SIM cards and comes with an in-display optical fingerprint sensor and facial recognition. Other sensors include a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, colour-temperature sensor, electronic compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, and infrared remote control.
Pricing and Availability
The OPPO K15 has been launched in China in a single 12GB/256GB memory configuration, priced at CNY 2,299. It is now available for purchase in Rapid White and Gale Grey colour options.
The Rapid White variant measures 8.27mm in thickness and weighs around 205gm, whereas the Gale Grey variant has a thickness of 8.31mm and weighs approximately 206gm. Both variants measure 158.30mm in height and 75.13mm in width.
