Oppo announced yesterday that the highly anticipated Oppo Find N5 will launch globally and in China on 20th February. Alongside it, the company will also introduce the Oppo Watch X2 in the Chinese market. Meanwhile, OnePlus has confirmed the global launch of the OnePlus Watch 3, which is a rebranded version. Both devices are already available for pre-order in China, and the Oppo Find N5 has been generating significant buzz in the rumour mill lately.
Now ahead of the official launch of Oppo Find N5, Oppo has also teased some key features of this upcoming device via Weibo.
Oppo Find N5: Key features teased
Oppo Find N5 will arrive with Chinas DeepSeek-R1 AI model that supports Xiaobu voice wake-up, exclusive online search and exporting local files.
The device comes with ultra thin body and is equipped with 5600 mAh lacier battery. It is revealed that the device can record 1080p video in extreme cold (-15 degree Celsius) for 4.2 hours, support 24 hours video playback time and 18.47 hours continuous online meeting duration.
Oppo Find N5 will be world’s first foldable device that will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. As per the Geekbench database, this chipset will be a 7-core edition. In the global market, consumers will be able to get the smartphone in Cosmic Black and Misty White colors, whereas in the Chinese market, these are to be marketed as Satin Black and Jade White colors. Oppo Find N5 was also teased to arrive with thin form factor design.
Oppo Find N5 has till now bagged various certifications till now- 3C, CMIIT, NBTC, EEC, SIRIM, SDPPI, and Camera FV 5. It is believed that OnePlus Open 2 will be the rebranded version of Oppo Find N5, therefore there are chances we may see similar features in OnePlus foldable as well.
