OPPO Find N5 Spotted on NBTC and EEC Databases; Few Other OPPO Devices Also Listed on EEC

The Chinese leading smartphone maker, OPPO, will be unveiling its next flagship Find N5 foldable smartphone next month in its home market and as we approach its launch time frame, the upcoming device has been certified by Thailand’s NBTC and the European EEC certification authorities. Moreover, four other OPPO devices have also made it to the EEC certification platform.

OPPO Find N5 and Other Devices – Certification Listings

The OPPO Find N5 smartphone (global model) has appeared on the NBTC and EEC databases bearing the same model number of ‘CPH2671’ with which it previously appeared on Malaysia’s SIRIM, Indonesia’s SDPPI, and the Camera FV 5 databases. It has received the NBTC certification with the certificate number – ‘B38014-25’ and its moniker is mentioned on the database, also pointing out that it supports 2G/3G/4G/5G network connectivity. The device has been certified by the EEC authority with the notification number – ‘RU0000061245’, along with certification validity till the 1st of October 2033.

As mentioned, a few other OPPO devices carrying the model numbers of ‘CPH2755’, ‘CPH2725’, ‘CPH2727’, and ‘CPH2737’ have also appeared on the EEC certification platform, with respective notification numbers of ‘RU0000061238’, ‘RU0000061239’, ‘RU0000061240’, and ‘RU0000061244’, having certification validity till the 1st of October 2033 itself. However, their monikers are not known yet.

Speaking more about the Find N5 folding flagship, apart from the above certification listings of the global model, the Chinese model has also been listed on 3C (both standard and satellite communication variants), CMIIT (satellite communication variant, earlier was mistaken as Find X8 Ultra), and Geekbench(standard variant) databases too.

It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite (7-core) chip, and is said to come with features like a 6.85″± 1.5K resolution LTPO main display, super large cover display, 50MP (1/1.5) large bottom main camera, 50MP (1/2.76″) ultra-wide camera, periscope telephoto camera, 80W wired & 50W wireless fast charging, reverse charging, IPX6/IPX8/IPX9 rating, NFC connectivity, and side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Its render image revealing the design aspects has also been shared online.

The official launch of the Find N5 smartphone will be taking place next month (February 2025) in China as mentioned above, and it will be arriving as the thinnest folding flagship with both better performance and better competitiveness in the segment. Later, its global launch will also happen, and this device is also expected to be re-branded as the next OnePlus Open 2 as well.
