OPPO had earlier teased the launch of its next A7-series smartphone in its home market of China, and now, the brand has started taking pre-bookings for the OPPO A7 Pro Max in the country. Along with revealing a few of its key specifications, OPPO has also officially confirmed that the smartphone will launch on the 4th of August 2026 at 2:30 PM China time.

OPPO A7 Pro Max – Launch Date and Specifications Revealed
As per the details listed on the OPPO China website, the upcoming OPPO A7 Pro Max smartphone will arrive in memory options of 8GB/128GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB.
The device will also be made available in three colour choices listed as ‘Riding the Waves (White with wave pattern on the back panel)’, ‘The Future is Bright (Orange)’, and ‘Dark Mountain (Black)’.
Coming to its battery, the OPPO A7 Pro Max is revealed to pack a large 10,000mAh battery. The brand describes it as a long-life battery designed to retain its durability for up to seven years.
The battery has further received the China Quality Certification Centre’s Gold Label Battery certification and Gold Label Level 1 energy-efficiency certification.
Oppo A7 Pro Max – Launch Date Confirmed
Speaking about its durability, the smartphone will feature an IP69K-rated water-resistant body and use an ultra drop-resistant diamond architecture for additional protection against accidental drops.
Moving on to its cameras, the device will sport a 50MP rear camera and a 50MP front-facing camera. The selfie camera is also revealed to offer a 100° ultra-wide field of view, while the brand is promoting the camera system as a front and rear ultra-clear dual-camera setup. Apart from this, tipster DCS had revealed that a secondary 2MP auxiliary sensor will also be there at the rear.
Other officially revealed specifications include OPPO’s ColorOS 16 operating system. Under the hood, it is expected to feature a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, as revealed via its alleged Geekbench listing.
The pre-booking of the OPPO A7 Pro Max is currently live in China through the official OPPO China online store and JD.com. Its pricing and remaining specifications have not yet been revealed, and more details could probably be announced during its scheduled launch on the 4th of August. Stay tuned for more updates!
