Back in May 2026, Qualcomm announced its new Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, and during the launch, the chipmaker revealed that brands including OPPO, Realme, and Xiaomi would be the first to release budget 5G smartphones powered by this processor. Now, while nothing has been confirmed officially, the alleged OPPO A7 Pro Max for the Chinese market has appeared on the Geekbench database with this new chipset.

OPPO A7 Pro Max (PYC110) – Geekbench Listing
On the Geekbench database, an OPPO smartphone carrying the model number of ‘PYC110’ has been listed. While its moniker has not been mentioned on the benchmarking platform, this model number is being associated with the upcoming OPPO A7 Pro Max, whose key specifications were recently shared by tipster Digital Chat Station.
Moving on to the Geekbench listing, the device is shown with a motherboard carrying the codename of ‘SM4850’. Its processor features two cores clocked at 2.40GHz and the remaining six cores clocked at 2.02GHz. Furthermore, the listing’s source code reveals the Adreno 629 GPU. Combining these details confirms that the device used for the Geekbench test was powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset.
The benchmarking platform further reveals that the alleged OPPO A7 Pro Max was tested with the Android 16 operating system and 12GB of RAM.
Oppo A7 Pro Max – Geekbench
This is probably the first time that we have seen the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset perform on Geekbench. The device achieved a single-core score of 976 points and a multi-core score of 2,250 points. If compared with the recent Geekbench scores of its predecessor, both chipsets appear to offer similar CPU performance.
Looking into previous updates, tipster Digital Chat Station had also revealed a few other key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. It is claimed to be the first model in the series to feature a 10,000mAh-class battery.
The alleged OPPO A7 Pro Max is tipped to feature a 6.78″ flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor and pack a 10,000mAh single-cell battery supporting 80W wired fast charging.
For photography, the smartphone is said to feature a 50MP front-facing camera, along with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera at the rear. The device is also tipped to have a thickness of 8.47mm and weigh 226gm.
It should be noted that OPPO has not officially confirmed the A7 Pro Max or any of the above-mentioned specifications yet. With the device now appearing on Geekbench, more details concerning it are likely to emerge soon.
