The standard model in OPPO’s upcoming A7 Pro series has now received its official launch date for the Chinese market, which is September 11th, 2026. Alongside announcing the launch date, the brand has also revealed some of its key specifications through its official China website.
Read more about the upcoming smartphone below.
OPPO A7 Pro – Officially Confirmed Details
Starting with its design, the OPPO A7 Pro appears somewhat similar to the Vivo S2, which was recently launched in the Indian market with the same horizontal pill shaped camera deco. Its rear panel features a sea wave-like pattern, while the camera sensors are housed inside a vertically aligned pill-shaped module.
Coming to its officially confirmed specifications, the smartphone will pack a large 8,000mAh long-life battery. OPPO claims that the battery has been designed to deliver reliable performance for up to seven years.

The device will also offer IP69K-rated water resistance and protection against accidental immersion in water. It further makes use of what the brand calls an Ultra-Damping Diamond Architecture, which is claimed to improve both its internal and external durability.
On the display side, the OPPO A7 Pro will feature an ultra-clear OLED panel designed to offer an immersive experience while watching videos and playing games.
The smartphone will run ColorOS 16, with the company claiming that it will continue to offer smooth performance even after prolonged usage. Its other confirmed features include AI-powered fraud prevention across different scenarios and enhanced security for phone-based money transfers.
Possible OPPO A7 Pro – TENAA Listing
One important detail to note here is that an OPPO-branded smartphone carrying the model number ‘PYE130’ was previously spotted on the TENAA certification database. Based on its specifications, I believe that this model number could belong to the upcoming OPPO A7 Pro.
The TENAA listing mentions a rated battery capacity of 7,820mAh, which is likely to be marketed with a typical capacity of 8,000mAh. This matches the battery capacity now officially confirmed by OPPO. However, since the certification does not reveal its marketing name, it would be better to wait for official confirmation before drawing any conclusions.
Coming to the specifications revealed through TENAA, the device features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2372 × 1080 pixels and support for approximately 1.07 billion colours.
In terms of its body measurements, the smartphone measures 159.1 × 75.8 × 8.8mm and weighs 205 grams. The certification further lists a straight candy-bar form factor, a built-in antenna, and a virtual keyboard.
On the performance side, the device is listed with an unspecified octa-core processor featuring a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz. It could be offered with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of internal storage. The listing also mentions support for up to 2TB of expandable storage through a T-Flash card.
For photography, the alleged OPPO A7 Pro is listed with a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. It further features an in-display fingerprint scanner and support for facial recognition.
While the device is listed as running the Android operating system, its exact Android version has not been mentioned. Its charging specifications also remain under wraps.
The listed sensors and connectivity features include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, Bluetooth, infrared, VoLTE, and VoNR. It also supports voice fallback to GSM and WCDMA networks.
As for its network connectivity, the smartphone supports GSM 900MHz/1800MHz, WCDMA bands I/VIII, LTE FDD bands 1/3/5/8, TD-LTE bands 38/39/40/41, and 5G SA bands n1/n5/n8/n28/n41/n78. However, support for CDMA, CDMA2000, TD-SCDMA, and 5G NSA has not been listed.
With the launch scheduled for September 11th, OPPO is expected to reveal more details about the smartphone over the coming days.
Stay tuned for more updates!
