The next smartphone, Oppo A3 Pro, now has its launch date set for April 12th at 2:40 PM China time. Previously, its CAD-based renders were also leaked, revealing the design. But now Oppo has released the first teaser video that shows the design and the color options it will come with. On the promo page, it is written “Super Waterproof,” “Super Fall Resistant,” and “Super Durable.” This hints that we will be seeing a much stronger mid-ranger from Oppo. This is going to be the successor of the A2 Pro(china), which was launched last year.

If you see the screengrab below from the teaser video, it shows the circular ring housing the camera unit with a metal finish. Additionally, on the outer ring, “Innovative Camera, 64MP 1/2″ f/1.7 25mm” is engraved.
I took another screengrab that shows it will be coming in three colors: green, blue, and pink. At this stage, the actual names of the colors are not known. But the back design is much more similar to that of the Realme 12 Pro series, which was launched recently. The blue and pink options appear to have a leather finish, while the green color appears to have a glass look. Both pink and blue options show a middle stripe with a pattern design defined with a nice stitch. The bottom also shows a Type-C charging socket, with volume control and power buttons on the right side.
From the past leak, it may feature a screen size of 6.7″ with dimensions of 162.7 x 74.5 x 7.8 mm with smooth curved edges. So far, this much is known about this upcoming smartphone, and now that the launch date is revealed, we may see more details rolling out soon.
