In August, OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus Open as its first foldable phone in the global market. The device is unlikely to be released in China. However, the home market is expected to receive a new Ace-branded phone called the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. Although details about the smartphone have been gradually emerging in recent reports, a Chinese tipster has now leaked a comprehensive set of its key specifications.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro specifications (rumoured)
According to the tipster, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will arrive with a 6.74-inch curved-edged OLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution. As per a previous report, the screen may support a 120Hz refresh rate.
There are rumours that the potent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will power the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. In all likelihood, it will feature an overclocked version of the chip, which tops at 3.36GHz. The device will be equipped with up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
The leak reveals that the rear camera setup of the Ace 2 Pro will include a Sony IMX890 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support It will be joined by 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel auxiliary cameras. While it is not mentioned in the leak, it appears that the device will be equipped with a usual 16-megapixel front-facing camera. What’s more, the phone is rumoured to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 150W fast charging technology.
