In July 2026, Nubia showcased its Nubia NaviX Ultra smartphone, which is said to be the world’s first AI-powered device. The company revealed its design and four colour options: Dream, Blue, Black and White.
Today, the company has officially announced the launch date of this device, while pre-orders have also started in China.
Nubia NaviX Ultra: China launch date announced & pre-orders started
The world’s first AI-powered smartphone, Nubia NaviX Ultra, will be officially released on 16th September at 2 PM (China time). Pre-orders for this device are now open on major e-commerce platforms in China.

The company has revealed that during the initial sales period, purchasing the Nubia NaviX Ultra will entitle consumers to:

According to the company, this smartphone will feature the Doubao AI assistant. The device features a pill-shaped camera module on the rear side that houses camera sensors, and the LED flash is placed below the camera module. There is also an orange button on the side, which could be used to access AI features.
