Motorola Globally Introduces its New Razr Family Flip Phones: Razr 60 Ultra/Razr Ultra (2025), Razr 60/Razr (2025), and Razr+ (2025) Unveiled

At the recently held launch event, Motorola has now introduced its new family of Razr flip phones in the global market. Three new smartphone models have been introduced – Razr 60 Ultra/Razr Ultra (2025), Razr 60/Razr (2025), and Razr+ (2025), with their pre-order and official sale set to begin from next month in May 2025.

Motorola’s New Razr 60 Ultra/Razr Ultra (2025), Razr 60/Razr (2025), and Razr+ (2025) Officially Unveiled

The newly-introduced Motorola Razr flip phones are integrated with the first set of advanced moto ai prompts such as Catch Me Up, Pay Attention, and Remember This. Features which include Next Move, Playlist Studio, Image Studio, Smart Connect with AI, Gemini, and Gemini Live are also accessible now right from the external cover display on the latest Motorola Razr phones.

On the Razr 60 Ultra/Razr Ultra (2025), a dedicated AI Key is present to launch moto ai easily. In Stand or Tent mode, the users of the Razr 60 Ultra/Razr Ultra (2025) will also be able to access moto ai hands-free by enabling Look & Talk. With Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, this is made possible, and the Razr 60 Ultra/Razr Ultra (2025) is thus the world’s most powerful flip phone offering 45% CPU performance boost and 40% graphics-rich gaming performance boost. As the MediaTek 7400X powered flip phone, the Razr 60/Razr (2025) too offers 15% improved AI performance, along with power efficiency and next generation capabilities.

Speaking about the design, the new Razr family is more durable, offers more bolder colors, and comes with new luxurious finishes. The Razr 60 Ultra/Razr Ultra (2025) has luxurious soft-touch Alcantara (first time), real wood (FSC-certified), luxe satin-inspired, leather-inspired finishes on it, and comes in Pantone colors like Pantone Scarab, Pantone Mountain Trail, Pantone Cabaret, and Pantone Rio Red. On the other hand, the Razr 60/Razr (2025) features leather-inspired, nylon-inspired, and acetate finish and are paired with Pantone Gibraltar Sea, Pantone Spring Bud, Pantone Lightest Sky, and Pantone Parfait Pink colors. Additionally, a stronger new titanium-reinforced hinge plate, resilient Ultra Thin Glass, minimal gaps, integrated brush filters, and IP48-rating are also build-related specs.

About the display, the Razr 60 Ultra/Razr Ultra (2025) has a 7.0″ Pantone-validated pOLED inner display (with 20% narrower bezels and super HD resolution) and a 4.0″ interactive cover display (with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic protection). The Razr 60/Razr (2025) features a vivid 6.9″ pOLED HDR10+ display and an immersive 3.6″ cover display.

Advanced camera features have also been equipped within the latest Motorola Razr flip phones and on the hardware side, both the Razr 60 Ultra/Razr Ultra (2025) and Razr 60/Razr (2025) come with a 50MP primary camera and an added 50MP/13MP ultrawide lens. Notably, Group Shot and Action Shot are key camera features, along with other AI capabilities.

Regarding the battery backup, the Razr 60 Ultra/Razr Ultra (2025) has a 4700 mAh massive battery which supports 68W wired and 30W wireless fast charging specs. A 4500 mAh battery is present within the Razr 60/Razr (2025) device, coupled with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging features.

Furthermore, the Razr 60 Ultra/Razr Ultra (2025) supports Android’s digital car key on BMW and MINI models. With the NFC connectivity, users will be able to unlock and start the vehicle with a tap, or make use of the BMW Digital Key Plus with UWB technology to unlock the vehicle automatically when approaching it. Also to add, there is a US-exclusive model called Razr+ (2025), featuring the same display and primary camera as that of the Razr 60/Razr (2025) model, but offering Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, 50MP telephoto camera, 4000 mAh battery, and 45W wired + 15W wireless charging, and added Mocha Mousse/Hot Pink colors.

Speaking of the availability details, the pre-order and sale of the Razr Ultra (2025)/Razr 60 Ultra and the Razr (2025)/Razr 60 smartphone will begin respectively on the 7th of May 2025 and 15th of May 2025 in the United States at USD 1299.99 and USD 699.99. In the Canadian market also the pre-order will begin on the same day, but the Razr 60 Ultra/Razr Ultra (2025) and Razr 60/Razr (2025) will be made available on 3rd June 2025 and 15th May 2025, respectively. The Razr+ 2025 priced at USD 1,000 will go on for sale in the US market on 3rd June 2025.

Just to add, apart from the new Razr family smartphones, the Edge 60, Edge 60 Pro, Moto Buds Loop, and Moto Watch Fit were also introduced by the brand in the global market recently.
