Following the launch of the Moto Pad 70 Groove with seven built-in JBL speakers, Motorola has now officially introduced the new Moto Pad 70 tablet in the Indian market.

Moto Pad 70 – Specifications and Features
Based on its specifications, it appears to be a rebrand of the Lenovo Tab K12, which we also spotted in multiple databases a while ago. It features the same 12.1″ IPS display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, 600 nits of typical brightness, and up to 800 nits of HBM brightness.
The tablet’s display has also received TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Hardware Solution certifications.
Under the hood, the Moto Pad 70 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, and comes equipped with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It also supports storage expansion of up to 2TB using a microSD card and is compatible with the exFAT file system. Also, the tablet will come with Android 16 OS out of the box, and Motorola is offering 2 major OS upgrades along with 4 years of security patch updates till 2030.
Coming to its cameras, the Moto Pad 70 sports a 13MP camera at the rear and an 8MP camera at the front for selfies and video calls.
The tablet is backed by a large 10,200mAh battery supporting 68W charging and features a quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos support, two built-in microphones, and support for voice calling.
Speaking about its connectivity features, the Moto Pad 70 supports Sub-6GHz 5G, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.2. A USB Type-C port with USB 2.0 and charging support, a dedicated microSD card slot, and a three-point pogo-pin connector are provided as well.
The device supports Motorola’s AI-powered Moto Pen, which is included in the retail box. The brand is also offering a variant bundled with both the Moto Pen and a keyboard.
Regarding its design, the tablet features a metal body and carries an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance. It measures 278.8 × 181.05 × 6.49mm and weighs approximately 530g. Its available sensors include an accelerometer, ambient-light sensor, and Hall sensor, while a vibration motor is also present. However, the device does not feature a fingerprint scanner.
Pricing and Availability
Speaking about its pricing, the Moto Pad 70 arrives in two memory options of 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB, which are priced at INR 33,999 and INR 36,999, respectively.
With eligible bank discounts of up to INR 5,000, the effective pricing of the tablet starts at INR 29,999. While the Moto Pen will be included with both variants, the available keyboard bundle will depend on the selected configuration.
The Moto Pad 70 is offered in a single Pantone Sea Angel colour choice and will be made available for purchase starting from the 15th of August 2026 through Flipkart, the Motorola India online store, and leading retail outlets.
