Meizu Note 16 Series and Flyme AIOS 2 Launch Date in China Announced: Launching Next Week

One among the known Chinese smartphone makers – Meizu following its earlier update that was shared more than a month back has now officially announced the launch date for its Note 16 series smartphones in China. The same day will also be marking the launch of the Flyme AIOS 2 system as well.

Meizu Note 16 Series and Flyme AIOS 2 – Launching on 13th May 2025
Meizu Note 16 series – the brand’s affordable and budget-friendly smartphone series and the updated Flyme AIOS 2 operating system has now been announced to launch in China on the 13th of May 2025 next week, at 2:30 PM local time. The launch will be taking place via a live streaming event, and two smartphone models will be unveiled under the Meizu Note 16 series – Meizu Note 16 and Meizu Note 16 Pro. These devices will also be marking the arrival of the Flyme AIOS 2 on non-flagship smartphones as well. The advance booking and invitation creative competition are also now open in China.
Speaking more about the upcoming smartphones, a refreshed design language is part of the two – with both of them having a flat rear and side panels as well as new camera modules. The Meizu Note 16 features a Red x Gold color with an octagonal-shaped rear camera module, whereas the Meizu Note 16 Pro will offer a Blue color choice and a circular camera module. Two camera sensors, an LED light ring, and AI capabilities are also revealed to be there on the two smartphones. Also to add, the standard Meizu Note 16 will have 2.5D curved edges and a 3D back panel, while the Meizu Note 16 Pro will be coming with a symmetrical body and 1.45 mm thin bezels.
