IQOO Z7 5G may come with a MediaTek Dimensity 920 Processor

Nipun Marya, the CEO of iQOO, has revealed the AnTuTu benchmarking results for the iQOO Z7. According to the graphic shared by the top executive, the smartphone scores higher than devices with Snapdragon 695 SoC as their core. The iQOO Z7 series is set to launch in the Indian market soon and was recently spotted on China’s 3C certification website with over 100W fast charging, making it the first Z-series smartphone with this feature. According to a recent report which states that IQOO Z7 may get launched in the month of March itself in India.

The benchmarking score for the iQOO Z7 5G appears to be an impressive 480,000+ on the popular AnTuTu platform, according to the image shared by Nipun Marya. This score is significantly higher than the 410,000 scores achieved by the Snapdragon 695 processor on several smartphones. However, the CEO didn’t reveal which chipset powers the iQOO Z7, instead leaving it open for fans and followers to guess.

Leakster Mukul Sharma, also known as Stufflistings, predicted that the smartphone will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor in the country. Given their accurate track record for leaks in the past, it’s highly likely that the iQOO Z7 will feature the Dimensity 920 SoC.

The MediaTek Dimensity 920 was launched in 2021 as a mid-range 5G chipset. Built on the 6nm fabrication process, it reportedly offers a 9% performance boost over its predecessor, the Dimensity 900. The octa-core chip can clock up to 2.5GHz and uses ARM’s Cortex A78 architecture. It also features LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage, making it one of the fastest mid-range SoCs available. Additionally, the chipset supports Smart Adaptive Displays, hardware-based 4K HDR video capture, up to four cameras, and up to 108MP sensors.
