iQOO Neo 12 confirmed to feature 8.2K 3D Ice Dome VC passive cooling system; iQOO Pad Pro 8.8 will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC

iQOO will be unveiling its iQOO 12 smartphone and iQOO Pad Pro 8.8 tablet in the Chinese market on 28^th October at 19:00 (local time). The company has already started teasing the features of these upcoming gadgets.

Today, iQOO has shared some new details related to the iQOO Neo 12 and iQOO Pad Pro 8.8 gadgets via the Weibo platform.

iQOO Neo 12 & iQOO Pad Pro 8.8: New details teased

It was previously revealed that the iQOO Neo 12 smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. This chipset is built on a 3nm process and comes with an ultra-efficient 2+6 all-big-core CPU architecture. The chipset offers 20% improved CPU performance and 35% reduced CPU power consumption.

The iQOO Neo 12 smartphone uses the same Monster super-core engine as the iQOO 16 smartphone. It is equipped with a new-generation Ice Dome active cooling fan that comes with super-powerful 59 large-size fan blades, brand new ice dome air duct, a front air vent design and three-speed intelligent fan speed adjustment. The circuit board features a double-layer waterproof design and a high-strength rotor and shaft wielding.

The smartphone boasts 8.2K 3D Ice Dome VC Passive Cooling. The innovative 3D VC structure design offers better heat dissipation compared to the Neo 11 VC (performance improved by 15%). The Ice Dome Armor features a low-temperature design with multiple specialised low-temperature features.

The iQOO Pad Pro 8.8 tablet comes in an Ice Blade Blue colour option. The device features an 8.8-inch display that provides a wide field of view and a perfect feel for FPS games.

The tablet is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, featuring a deeply restructured platform scheduling architecture due to the Monster’s super-core engine. It comes with iQOO’s Q3 gaming chip and an industry-leading ultra-large cooling fan, that ensure stable frame rates in FPS games.
