iQOO 16 & iQOO Pad Ultra to debut in China with Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC

iQOO will unveil its all-new iQOO 16 smartphone on 29^th September in the Chinese market, and alongside this device, the company will also launch iQOO Pad Ultra and iQOO Gaming Headset.

The company has today revealed the chipset and gaming features of the upcoming iQOO 16 and iQOO Pad Ultra devices.

iQOO 16 & iQOO Pad Ultra: New features revealed

The iQOO 16 and iQOO Pad Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC, and these devices will also be the first to feature iQOO’s self-developed Q4 gaming chip, which brings industry-exclusive 2K+ 165fps super-resolution and super-frame concurrency.

The iQOO 16 and iQOO Pad Ultra will boast three self-developed technologies and two major gaming scenarios.

Three self-developed technologies

• Self-developed Q4 chip offers industry-exclusive full-scene ray tracing, industry-exclusive 8K gaming camera and industry-exclusive 2K+ 165fps super-resolution and super-frame concurrency.
• Industry-exclusive Q-flex control technology: Deepening the game engine layer significantly reduces end-to-end latency.
• Next-generation Monster Super Core engine: In-depth platform restructuring and scheduling architecture reload for sustained high frame rate in games. Industry-first supercore self-developed scheduler.

Two major gaming scenarios

• Game Live Assistant: High-quality live streaming audio and video, deeply customised live streaming showcase, multiple popular mobile games native 165fps, virtually stable frame rate for live streaming.
• Breakthrough equipment barriers: iQOO’s self-developed game large-screen mode, iQOO self-developed PC game emulator and dual-sided gamepad.
