iPhone 16 Early Prototypes reveal vertical camera layout and new capture button on the upcoming device
Apple unveiled its latest iPhone 15 series a few months back and this latest series was immensely loved by consumers all over the world as not only were there long queues to get the iPhone 15 series smartphone but the device also went out of stock due to huge demands. Well even before the launch of the iPhone 15 series, updates regarding the iPhone 16 series started arriving over the internet giving an idea to the users about the upcoming series. Just like how the iPhone 15 series arrived for the very first time with a USB Type-C port, the upcoming iPhone 16 series is also said to arrive with new changes and improvements.
MacRumors has recently revealed prototypes of iPhone 16 which are said to be based on Apple’s internal designs.
iPhone 16: Early Prototypes
The iPhone 16 renders above are in three color variants- Yellow, Pink and Black. iPhone 16 Yellow variant features button design with an Action Button, unified volume button and iPhone X-style camera bump. iPhone 16 pink color variant has an action button and separate mechanical volume buttons and the iPhone 16 black color variant has larger action button and new capture button.
Earlier it was tipped that the iPhone 16 will arrive with a vertical camera layout similar to the iPhone 12 smartphone and the above renders showcase the same thing. It is said that Apple is considering two different camera bump designs- the iPhone 12 style design, with two camera lenses located one above the other, or the iPhone 12 X-type design, with a singular pill-shaped enclosure. However, the renders also reveal that the position of the flash will remain unchanged.
From the above renders, it can be said that Apple will be using mechanical buttons for iPhone 16 while the Action button will be standardized to the entire iPhone 16 range. However, the size of the action button is varied across different configurations. One new addition that Apple could include is the capacitive capture button which is on the right side of the device as seen above while the company is also said to develop an alternative hardware configuration that does not feature a capture button which might be used in case of hardware issues.
The front side of the iPhone 16 is the same as its predecessor which features Dynamic Island. Meanwhile, iPhone 16 is also said to feature a USB Type-C port
Also, these are just the early designs and have not been finalized by the company yet. Since there is a lot of time left for the launch of the iPhone 16 series there might be a few changes made by the company in the design of the iPhone 16 smartphone.
