The Chinese manufacturer Honor has unveiled a new tablet in the Malaysian market, Honor Pad 20 Pro Paperlike Edition.

The tablet sports a 12.1-inch Paperlike Eye-Comfort display that offers 3000×1872 resolution, 1.07 billion colours, a 165Hz refresh rate, 700 nits of high brightness, and DCI-P3 cinema-grade wide colour gamut. The display boasts Advanced settings for colour adjustment, AI Super Dynamic, AI Vivid and IMAX Enhanced technologies. The paperlike display offers 50% sparkle reduction and 99% ambient light interference elimination.
It delivers fatigue-free viewing and long-term vision protection with DOT Technology, an all-around protective screen powered by a custom eye comfort chip and 7 core eye-care technologies (chip-level AI Defocus display, Global DC Dimming, Dynamic dimming, AI Circadian Night Display, Paperlike Matte screen, hardware low blue light and motion sickness relief). True-colour restoration delivers an authentic paper-like texture.
The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, which delivers a 31% CPU performance boost and a 49% GPU performance boost. The PC Mode provides a familiar desktop design, multi-window freedom and flexible split-screen layouts, while PC-Class interaction supports side-by-side windows and shortcut operations. Users can also experience PC-level WPS Office with a familiar desktop layout.
The tablet also supports PC-Class Productivity accessories like Honor Magic Pencil 4s and a keyboard. But they need to be purchased separately.
It is backed by a 10100 mAh battery and offers 72-day ultra-long standby time. The device is 6.29mm thin and weighs 537g. It boasts a six-speaker stereo system, self-developed Honor Sound Algorithm and DTS: X Ultra Sound. The tablet runs on MagicOS 10 and comes with Honor AI, Honor AI Image Master and Honor Connect.
The tablet packs a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It supports WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6 connectivity options. It offers 16GB RAM (8GB Honor RAM Turbo) and 256GB internal storage. The device comes in a grey colour option.
