Last month, HMD had launched its HMD Vibe 2 5G smartphone in the Indian market, and now the brand has introduced a new memory variant of the device in the country. The new variant will be made available for purchase starting tomorrow, on the 16th of June 2026 at 12 PM IST, via the same Flipkart platform.

HMD Vibe 2 5G Gets New Memory Variant in India
As mentioned, the newly introduced memory variant of the HMD Vibe 2 5G smartphone is currently listed on Flipkart with a price tag of INR 16,999. However, in a recent post shared via X, the brand has confirmed that the device will be available at a selling price of INR 14,999, thereby bringing an INR 2,000 discount. Do note that HMD has not revealed the exact offers that will be made available with the device.
Just to add, there is no change in the specifications of the smartphone, as only a new memory variant has been introduced. With this, users will now have three memory options to choose from. The other two memory variants include the 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB models, which were announced at the time of its launch.
Speaking more, these two previously launched variants have also received a price hike in India. The 4GB/64GB variant, which was earlier priced at INR 10,999, is now listed at INR 12,999, reflecting a price hike of INR 2,000. On the other hand, the 4GB/128GB variant, which had debuted with a price tag of INR 11,999, is now priced at INR 14,999, marking a price increase of INR 3,000.
