Google Pixel 9a official sale begins in India: Check out the specs and pricing details

Last month, Google officially introduced its much-awaited Pixel 9a smartphone, but due to a last-minute quality check, the release of this device in the market was delayed. Well, on 14th April, the device was made available in various global markets, and now today the smartphone is made available in the Indian market as well.

The smartphone comes in Iris, Obsidian, and Porcelain color options. There is a single storage option- 8/256GB priced at Rs 49,999. The company is offering Rs 3000 instant discount on HDFC bank credit card, Rs 2000 off on exchange, and No Cost EMI facility. It is available via Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital.
Google Pixel 9a: Specifications
Pixel 9a features a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a 1080 x 2424 resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a smooth 60–120Hz refresh rate. 2D Gorilla Glass protects the screen, which reaches up to 2,700 nits peak brightness for better visibility in bright conditions. Google-powered the Pixel 9a with its Tensor G4 processor, pairing it with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage to ensure smooth performance for daily tasks and multitasking.
For photos and videos, Google equipped the Pixel 9a with a 48-megapixel main rear camera, featuring a 1/2-inch sensor, optical image stabilization (OIS), closed-loop autofocus, and an f/1.7 aperture. The camera also supports Super Res Zoom up to 8x. Alongside it, the phone includes a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view and an f/2.2 aperture, providing flexibility for wide-angle shots.
For selfies and video calls, the Pixel 9a sports a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture, ensuring sharp and clear images. The device also records 4K video at 60 fps and offers AI-powered photography features like Macro Focus, Add Me, and Best Take to enhance image quality.
A 5,100mAh battery keeps the Pixel 9a running for over 30 hours on a single charge. The device supports 23W wired charging and Qi wireless charging, offering flexibility for users. Google built the Pixel 9a with durability in mind, giving it an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and a satin metal frame with a fingerprint-resistant coating.
