The MediaTek Dimensity 9200 will be the Taiwanese company’s next-generation flagship chipset, succeeding the Dimensity 9000. Earlier reports indicated that MediaTek hoped to beat the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 to market by launching earlier, and this now appears to be the case.
A new poster released on Twitter by a tipster shows the launch date of MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Chipset. The launch date shown in the poster is the 8th of November 2022 at 14:30.
The Dimensity 9200 is expected to be based on the same architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It is said to have one Cortex-X3 prime core, three Cortex-A715 mid-cores, and four Cortex-A510 cores. A new Mali Immortalis G-715 MC11 GPU is heavily rumored in terms of graphics.
