From Apple Watch Series 6 to iPad Air (2020): Check out gadgets launched at the Apple event

Apple has announced a bunch of new hardware and some software at the special ‘Time Flies’ event today.

Apple Watch Series 6

The main feature of this product is its ability to measure blood oxygen saturation. It would assess how well your cardiovascular system is functioning. If you have this gadget, you might not need to use a dedicated pulse oximeter.

Apple Watch SE

The Apple Watch SE seems to be an upgraded version of the Series 3. It uses the S5 chip for up to 2 times better performance than Series 3.

It also supports Fall Detection, altimeter, swimproofing, among others. It has been launched at $279 in the United States.

Apple Fitness +

Soon you’ll be able to access the workouts across your Apple devices as the company has also launched a new Fitness Plus service powered by the Apple Watch. It will feature 10 popular studio workouts like yoga, cycling, dance, rowing, and “mindful cooldowns.”

A subscription to the service is $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year. You can also share an account with up to five other family members.

iPad 8th Gen

This iPad has the A12 Bionic chip, a Touch ID and a similar form factor as compared to its predecessor. The processor is a big upgrade over the A10 that was powering the older iPad. It also supports Apple’s Smart Keyboard cover and Apple Pencil.

iPad Air (2020)

This iPad has a redesigned body with flat borders that allows it to support the second-gen Apple Pencil. Its features are:

• Single rear camera

• 10.9-inch Liquid Retina Display

• Integration of the Touch ID fingerprint sensor into its power button

The company claims the iPad Air (2020) offers 40% better CPU performance and 30% better graphics performance than the iPad Air (2019).

Apple One

As we know, Apple sells a lot of services. Now the iPhone maker is giving customers a way to purchase all of them in a bundle, which will be called Apple One.

The subscription service comes in three tiers. The cost for an individual is $14.95, which gets you:
• Apple Music
• Apple Arcade
• Apple TV+
• iCloud

A family subscription goes for $19.95, which allows those services to be shared with up to 6 family members.

While, a premier subscription includes all those services plus News and Fitness subscriptions.

The Cupertino-based company is offering the new service on a 30-day free trial.
