Redmi Buds 8 confirmed to launch in China on 21st April alongside the Redmi K90 Max smartphone

Recently, Redmi announced that it will be launching its Redmi K90 Max smartphone, Redmi Book Pro 2026, Redmi Pad 2 SE and Redmi K Pad 2 in the Chinese market on 21st April at 19:00 (local time). The company has already started teasing the key details of these upcoming devices.
Today, the brand has revealed that, along with these gadgets, it will also unveil new earbuds in China- Redmi Buds 8.

The Redmi Buds 8 will launch in China on 21st April at 19:00 (local time). The reservation for these earbuds has started in the country.

The earbuds will arrive in green, white, and Black colours. It will offer up to 50dB 4kHz wideband noise reduction. It will be equipped with an 11mm high-performance dynamic driver unit and arrive with a new upgrade of intelligent interconnection.
In the coming days, some more details related to the earbuds could be revealed by the brand.

The device is revealed to arrive with a 6.83-inch display that offers 3500 nits ultra-high brightness, and the brand-new e-sports touchscreen offers 3500Hz instantaneous sampling rate, a 480Hz multi-finger touch reporting rate and 400Hz six-axis gyroscope. The display boasts the M10 Emissive Technology system and game-specific dark zone optimisation.
The K90 Max features upgraded gaming audio with 1115K symmetrical stereo dual speakers and Sound by Bose co-tuning. The device brings you a new Delta Force experience as it is among the first to support 165fps+ HD graphics. It comes with native support for over 40 games in 165fps mode.
The device comes in Space Silver colour. The aluminium alloy frame features an ultra-narrow bezel design and a minimalised grille opening. It features an innovative air-cooling system with a large fan for maximum airflow and a vortex airflow channel for maximum efficiency. It comes with “body temperature” temperature control, boasting powerful air cooling.
The smartphone is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC. The dedicated graphics chip D2 supports 165fps frame interpolation in all games, combined with active air cooling for a top-tier gaming experience. The smartphone supports Xiaomi’s Green Mountain Eye Protection 3.0 and DC Dimming for flicker-free operation. Meanwhile, a newly customised gaming eye protection mode precisely filters blue light. It boasts Circularly Polarized Light 2.0, 1 nit low light eye protection and added game color adjustment.
The Redmi K90 Max smartphone is backed by a 8550 mAh battery that comes with 16% ultra-high silicon content. The device supports 100W wired fast charging, 22.5W wired reverse charging and 100W PPS. The motherboard is powered directly, so it doesn’t overheat while playing and charging. The smartphone features two Xiaomi Surge T1+ signal enhancement chips and an independent gaming antenna array, optimised for landscape use, reducing obstructions for a more stable network connection and lowering game latency by 20% and 15% reduction in live broadcast jams.
