According to reports, the woman student accused of leaking the videos online demanded money from others in exchange for not leaking them. After the incident became public, hundreds of students demonstrated on the varsity campus as well as on the Ludhiana-Chandigarh highway late Saturday night.
The accused students allegedly filmed 60 female students bathing and sent the video to a friend, who then posted it on the internet.
Some users posted online that a girl has committed suicide because of the MMS leak at the Chandigarh university.

According to a statement published by the SSP Mohali Vivek Soni, No suicide attempt or death has taken place. One student who was taken in an ambulance was suffering from anxiety and our team is in contact with her. Apart from the video of one student, no other video has come to our notice.

So we can conclude that the information that is being spread online that the girl committed suicide appears to be false. However, more information is still awaited.
