Russia police detain atmost 167 people at anti-war protests

Russian police imprisoned at least 167 people at anti-war uprisings that took spot in 24 Russian towns on Thursday as per the OVD-Info uprising monitor told.

Russia inaugurated a huge military undertaking against Ukraine in the ahead hours of Thursday. The OVD-Info monitor has reported crackdowns on Russia’s hostility for years.

Russia’s investigative council announced on Thursday 3 people had been injured by what it told were Ukrainian shells that hit residential regions in the southern Belgorod region near the boundary with Ukraine.

A sequel of loud explosions was learned in the region around the period when the investigative council conveyed the announcement.
