A prime Russian radio station named Kommersant FM played Ukrainian National Anthem. Today all of a sudden the major Russian radio broadcasted a Ukrainian song as a part of an anti-war protest.
The song was immediately retracted with urgent efforts. It is believed that some hackers targeted the Russian radio station Kommersant FM to play the song in response to Russia’s Ukraine invasion. Soon, after the incident, the radio station confirmed, “The radio station has been hacked. The internet stream will soon be reinstated.”
Alexey Vorobyov who is the editor-in-chief of the radio station confirmed the news of the hack. He added, “We were really hacked. Technical specialists are now finding out the origin of this attack, trying to do something with the internet stream.”
Other than the Ukrainian national anthem a song that aired on the radio station is called, “I don’t need a war” by Russian rock band Nogu Svelo.
