Airbus canceled the shipment of A350 planes to Qatar Airways

Europe’s Airbus has been in a dispute with Qatar Airways over damage to the painted surface of the A350s. After the first dispute, Airbus has already revoked the A321neo deal with Qatar because of the previous retaliation. Recently Airbus has been on the frontline news for revoking its contract for the fourth delivery of A350 jets.

According to sources two companies are having a lot of retaliation over the impact of surface scars on the jets. Qatar Airways has questioned the worthiness of Europe’s Airbus models while the company has constantly claimed that aircraft are safe for delivery.

The first retaliation occurred in May when a British judge rejected a bid by Qatar Airways to stop forcing Airbus to deliver more A350s to the carrier. The judge rejected Qatar’s argument and a fourth A350 was canceled in June.

Reportedly, Qatar Airways claimed that Airbus trying to offer new aircraft for delivery while Airbus accused Qatar of breaking the rules of the contract and refusing to take the A350 models. Airbus has also claimed that not only A350s but Qatar Airways have been revoking several orders for undelivered aircraft one by one after they are being built.

Sources say that two companies are to meet in a London court on Thursday for their next hearing ahead of a full trial resorted for June.
