Why Government of India posted a ban again on 118 Chinese Apps including PUBG Mobile; Details Inside

Todat the Government Of India issued a statement that they will be banning 118 new Chinese apps currently operational in India. It also stated due to the eternal threat from China and the recent clash amongst the armies from both side, they took this decision to ban these 118 chinese apps including PUBG mobile.

The Government also stated that they fear national security may in the harms way as these companies may leak some sesitive information to the Chinese authority when asked. But it has both sides as people were not expecting this move and may give a reply to the Chinese authority.

The Ministry of Electronics & IT stated that “Government Blocks 118 Mobile Apps Which are Prejudicial to Sovereignty and Integrity of India, Defence of India, Security of State and Public Order. Press Release issued by @GoI_MeitY regarding blocking of 118 mobile apps”
