IPL 2022: Akash Chopra considers Shahrukh Khan will be the most expensive uncapped player in the auction

Aakash Chopra, the ex-India opener, made another one a few days before the much-anticipated IPL auction. His prediction was the most expensive uncapped Indian cricketer. In spite of the big names like Devdutt Padikkal and others, Chopra believes Shahrukh Khan – who would play a finisher – would bag the biggest deal among the uncapped Indian stars.
“In my opinion, the finisher’s job is the most difficult because you get 10-15 deliveries per day. As you can see, this is a very short list, so when names from this list are offered at auction, I think they will fetch a lot of money. This is why I believe Shahrukh Khan will be the most expensive uncapped Indian at the IPL 2022 auction,” Chopra said on his YouTube channel.
Chopra states that Shahrukh will be expected to perform well based on his performance in the domestic circuit in the past season. In addition, he said that he is the only Indian left who is capable of playing the finisher’s role well. It is unclear whether he will be able to do so, but the expectation is that he will, so he will be sold very expensively.
The mega auction will be held in Bengaluru on February 12-13. Two days of bidding will bring 1214 players to the auction block.
