Mormugao, the Indian Navy’s second indigenous stealth destroyer of the P15B class, made her maiden sea sortie today. She is scheduled to be commissioned in mid-2022. The 19th of December is likely the most appropriate date for the ship to set sail, as the nation commemorates the 60th anniversary of Goa’s independence from Portuguese domination.
