A telecom report, suggests prices of Tech products and Smartphones are going t increase after October 22nd, 2022. This is caused due to an increase in the dollar value as the cost of importing parts will increase. The report further states that there might be a 5% hike in smartphones after Diwali.
Also as Diwali is going on several companies have given all kinds of offers to woo customers on their platforms. Currently, Amazon is running the offer and many others also.
Some may have questions like most of the phones are manufactured in-house and why there will be a cost increase. It will be because most of the phones in India are basically assembled here. And the parts of those phones are being imported from other countries mainly China.
As Rupee is falling, this would mean more import costs on those parts and in turn will cost it to the end customers. So in our view, it’s better to buy products before this Diwali ends and make the most of the offers that are available.
