Yesterday, the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi introduced its latest SkyNomad models in its home country, China. The models include: SkyNomad N70 Pro/Max, SkyNomad N90 Max and SkyNomad N90 Max Explorer Edition.

Xiaomi SkyNomad N70 SUVs
Features
The N70 models feature extra-large second-row space, standard features like a massage chair and a sliding island, optional swivel or zero-gravity seats, 1410mm maximum passenger space, and a standard 1203 L trunk volume that expands to 245 L.
The dashboard layout includes a 16.1-inch 3K central display, an 8.8-inch instrument cluster, and a 20-inch head-up display. Rear passengers have access to a 21.4-inch entertainment screen, and the cabin includes a built-in 9-litre compressor refrigerator capable of both cooling and heating.

Qualcomm’s third-generation Snapdragon 8 SoC powers it and runs on HyperOS. Both trims come standard with Xiaomi HAD. There is a front-facing LiDAR unit, 4D mm-wave radar, 11 HD cameras and ADAS software.
The N70 models boast an armored cage body that consists of 14 sections of 2200MPa Xiaomi super-strong steel, a one-piece thermoformed door ring with 9 airbags and a Xiaomi Longjia battery. There are 6 colour options: Distant mountain green, cold khaki, butterfly valley blue, pearl white, volcanic ash and obsidian black.
The models feature a boxy design with dragonfly headlights and inverted-U halo taillights. It comes with a 2,950 mm wheelbase.
The N70 Max model is equipped with a 76 kWh ternary lithium battery and comes with a CLTC pure electric range of 505km. The WLTC has a fuel consumption of 6.1L/100km, while the CLTC has a combined range of 1461km. The N70 Pro model is equipped with 52kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and comes with a CLTC pure electric range of 351km. The WLTC electric version has a fuel consumption of 5.7L/100km, while the CLTC has a combined range of 1351km.
The N70 Max arrives with dual-motor AWD and boasts front double wishbone, rear multi-link independent suspension, air springs, and continuously damped variable shock absorbers. It offers 0-100km/h acceleration in 5.5 seconds and 190km/h top speed. The N70 Pro model arrives with a dual-motor AWD setup and boasts front double wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension. It offers 0-100km/h acceleration in 7.9 seconds and 190km/h top speed.
Both models use a 1.5L turbocharged engine as a range extender, bringing the total combined range to over 1,350km. Meanwhile, fast charging can add up to 310km of range to the Max in 15 minutes.

Features
SkyNomad N90 Max
It comes with a 2+2+3 seating layout. A zero-gravity layout is available in the first and second rows, while the second row offers 950mm of legroom and the third row offers 890mm of legroom. It boasts 1831L of ultimate storage, a standard sliding island, Xiaomi HAD, an armored cage body and a Xiaomi Longjia battery.
The N90 Max model features dual-motor FWD and 76kWh large battery range extender. It arrives with a front double wishbone, rear multi-link independent suspension with air springs and continuously dumped variable shock absorbers. The SUV model offers 0-100km/h acceleration in 5.9 seconds. CLTC has a combined range of 1705km, while CLTC has a pure electric range of 434km. The WLTC fuel consumption at a low power level is 6.26L/100km. It comes with 21-inch prism wheels.
The exterior colour options include: Distant Mountain Green, Cold Khaki, Wine Red, Butterfly Valley Blue and Pearl White. The interior colour options include: Sand Rice, Mocha brown and Dark Night.
The cabin features six-screen connectivity, including a 16.1-inch 3K central display, 20-inch HUD, 8.88-inch instrument display and 21.4-inch rear screen. It gets rear-facing solid-state LiDAR, 12 airbags, a 2200MPa hot-stamped steel structure, a 13-in-1 integrated hot-stamped door ring, triple-redundant door handles and 750mm wading capability.
SkyNomad N90 Max Explorer Edition
It is based on the N90 Max model, but it comes with a factory-integrated electric lifting cabin roof. The roof raises the total vehicle height to 2,294mm and provides up to 100mm of additional roof height. The second-floor space measures 2110mm x 985mm, and it is fully furnished with lighting, AC and a charging magnetic interface.
The rear sofa seats can be quickly converted into a bed with one touch, while the second-row seats can be split 40/60 to form a separate bed. It supports Xiao AI voice control and comes standard with ventilation and heating, 1.7m2 natural wood-grain aluminium alloy flooring with comfort floor heating system.
There is a built-in closet with 20L total capacity, a soft-light makeup mirror, a floating bedside table and a magnetic power interface bedside lamp. The Explorer Edition can be used as a mobile studio, a photographer’s natural viewing cabin or a camping car.
The CLTC of this model has a combined range of 1688km. The WLTC fuel consumption when the battery is low is 6.28L/100km, while the CLTC has a pure electric range of 462km. There are four exterior colours: Butterfly Valley Blue, Volcanic Ash, Distant Mountain Green, and Cold Khaki. And two interior colours: Sand Rice and Mocha Brown. It retains the N90 Max powertrain.
