Vivo has now started rolling out a new OriginOS 6 software update for its X100 smartphone in the Indian market. Certain users have also started sharing the availability of this latest update on social media platforms.

Read more about the update below.

Vivo X100 – New OriginOS 6 Software Update

As per the details shared online, the latest software update for the Vivo X100 smartphone carries the firmware version of ‘PD2309F_EX_A_16.2.15.2.W30’ and has a downloadable package size of 345MB. It is based on the Android 16 operating system, and its rollout has started for Indian users.

Speaking about the changes, the new OriginOS 6 update brings the July 2026 Google security patch to the Vivo X100 for improving the system security of the device. The power-saving strategy has also been optimised, and this is pointed out to improve its battery life.

OriginOS 6 Juy Update for Vivo X100 Smartphone

For gamers, the performance of third-party games has been optimised to offer an enhanced gaming experience. Furthermore, the compatibility of third-party applications has also been improved, thereby fixing the occasional issue which caused certain apps to not work properly.

Installing this software update will not delete or modify the user data stored on the device, however, it would be better to create a backup before proceeding with the installation. During the upgrade process, additional power may be consumed and the device temperature could also increase temporarily, because of which Vivo advises to keep the smartphone connected to a charger. The temperature is said to return to normal shortly after the upgrade is completed.

The downloaded installation package will also be automatically deleted after the update has been installed. As the software update is likely being rolled out in a phased manner, probably it could take some time to reach all Vivo X100 users in the country. Stay tuned for more updates!

While the Signature has received its second Android 17 beta update, the Edge 60 Pro is revealed to have received its first beta build.

Read more about the update below.

Motorola Signature and Edge 60 Pro – Android 17 Beta Updates

Firstly, speaking about the Motorola Signature, a Reddit user has shared that the smartphone has received its second Android 17 beta update with a downloadable package size of 3.40GB. The user further pointed out that the ending build number has changed from ‘13’ to ‘21.7’ with the latest beta update.

Looking into the changes, a few bugs from the previous beta build are said to have been fixed, however, certain known issues still remain. The anticipated multitasking bubbles feature, which the user considers to be one of Android 17’s most important additions, is still not available on the device.

Some user interface-related changes have also been noticed following the update. The status icons for the two SIM cards are now positioned side by side instead of being stacked vertically as before. Furthermore, the user pointed out that the Extra Dim feature can now make the display significantly darker when its intensity slider is set to the maximum level. It must be noted that these are observations shared by the beta tester and not an official changelog from Motorola.

On the other hand, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro has reportedly started receiving its first Android 17 beta update in Brazil. As per a screengrab shared on X, the beta update has a downloadable package size of 4.91GB. The user who shared the update has not mentioned the changes or new features that are included within this beta build.

As the Android 17 beta update has now started reaching Edge 60 Pro users in Brazil, probably Motorola could soon be expanding it to eligible beta testers in other regions, including India. However, an exact timeline regarding its availability for Indian users has not yet been revealed. Stay tuned for more updates!

But the company has till now made no such announcement regarding this.

While no official information is known yet, recently some leaked videos online have revealed that Xiaomi HyperOS 4 could arrive with a visual overhaul.

The above videos point out that the HyperOS 4 will arrive with a Liquid Glass-style design with translucent interface elements, softer blur effects and a refreshed overhaul appearance. Redesigned 2.5D app icons, animated widgets on the home screen, stacked weather and calendar widgets, bolder and cleaner-looking status bar icons and a shorter gesture navigation bar are also showcased in the UI.

Though these leaks are from internal testing, there is a chance that the brand may make some changes in the final version. But the leaks did suggest the Chinese manufacturer is considering options for a design overhaul in the upcoming custom skin, which means Xiaomi fans might get to see something different than the usual visual refresh.

You can check out the list of devices that are expected to get the HyperOS 4 upgrade at this link. Meanwhile, let’s wait to hear an official announcement from Xiaomi regarding the HyperOS 4.

The appearance of these test builds suggests that Samsung has started testing the latest One UI Watch version for both smartwatches internally, hinting that the beta update may not be too far away.

However, the One UI Watch 9 beta for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 5 could arrive sometime around September or October. This is because several flagship Galaxy smartphones are still waiting to receive their One UI 9 beta updates, and previous rumours have suggested that their beta rollout could take place around the same period.

For now, this is just an expected timeline, and Samsung may release the beta update early as well. Whatever the case may be, more details are likely to emerge as the internal testing progresses.

Stay tuned for more updates!

Realme has announced its latest monthly Realme UI 7 software update for eligible smartphones in its home market of China, which brings several additional features related to Live Photos, AI-powered social media writing, private cloud storage, security, system animations, and third-party app integration.

The rollout for this update started just 2 days back, that is, July 20th, 2026, and while the brand has not revealed an expected completion date, the rollout will likely be completed within a week or two.

Read more about the update below.

Realme UI 7 July 2026 Update – New Features and Improvements

Starting with Xiaobu Memory, users can now import links and files into the feature with just one tap, making it easier to save important information and access it later.

Users can now add markers, text, watermarks, and stickers while editing a Live Photo without removing its motion effect.

A new Live Photo Sticker feature has also been added, allowing users to cut out the main subject from a Live Photo and save it as an animated sticker. These stickers can later be added to regular photos or other Live Photos to create new Live Photos. Users can also apply animated outlines to the stickers.

Moving on to its AI features, the update improves the AI social media writing tool by adding online search support, richer content generation, and source attribution.

Realme UI 7 – July Update China

The AI social media post-generation algorithm has also been improved to reduce the template-like feel usually associated with AI-generated content. As per the changelog, the feature will now better understand publishing requirements and provide more accurate information.

Regarding private cloud storage, Device Space can now add and manage Feiniu Private Cloud NAS devices. Users will be able to check the status of their connected NAS devices directly through the smartphone.

The system Gallery has also received integration with Feiniu Private Cloud NAS. Following the update, users can view photos and videos stored on their private cloud, smoothly load images while scrolling, preview Live Photos in real time, and download the stored content.

Speaking more, the classic Smart Car screen-casting experience has been improved. Users can now adjust the interface size of Amap and Baidu Maps while using the supported screen-casting feature.

The Phone app is also receiving a new option that allows users to preview and adjust the incoming-call effect while editing a contact’s information.

Regarding its security features, an anti-fraud protection page has been added to Phone Manager. Users can view previous protection records and enable the available anti-fraud features from this section.

The update further improves transition animations while launching and switching between applications through the Recent Tasks screen, offering a smoother multitasking experience.

Also to add, third-party applications including CapCut, Wink, Meitu, QQ Mail, Xingtu, and Meituan, can now load the system Gallery more smoothly, reducing delays and blank image thumbnails.

A new One UI 8.5-based test build for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has now been spotted on the company’s test servers, suggesting that the South Korean tech maker has started working on the device’s next software update.

Read more about the update below.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra – New One UI 8.5 Test Build Spotted

According to tipster Tarun Vats, Samsung has moved from the earlier ‘S4AZG5’ firmware to a newer ‘U4AZG7’ test build for the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

The appearance of the new S948BXXU4AZG7 firmware indicates that Samsung is preparing another update for its Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone. As per the tipster, this could arrive with the August 2026 Android security patch, along with bug fixes, performance optimisations, and stability improvements.

While this is not confirmed, the upcoming update could also possibly include a fix for the red-tint issue recently reported by several Galaxy S26 Ultra users. The issue causes a reddish patch or tint to appear around the centre of the smartphone’s display.

Samsung later reportedly clarified that the issue is related to software-based colour optimisation and is not caused by OLED burn-in or a hardware defect. The company is already working on a software update to address it, although it has not revealed exactly which firmware will include the fix. Therefore, it is currently not sure whether the newly spotted ‘S948BXXU4AZG7’ build is associated with it.

OnePlus has now announced the rollout of its latest OxygenOS 16.0.9.400 update for the OnePlus 12 smartphone and OnePlus Pad 3 tablet, which is currently being rolled out to users in the Indian market, while its availability for other regions has not yet been revealed.

Although both devices are receiving the OxygenOS 16.0.9.400 update, their changelogs are largely different, apart from the July 2026 Android security patch and the new remote PC control feature.

Read more about the update below.

OnePlus 12 OxygenOS 16.0.9.400 Update

Starting with the OnePlus 12, the latest update is being rolled out in India with the firmware version ‘CPH2573_16.0.9.400(EX01)’ that integrates the July 2026 Android security patch.

Speaking of the newly added features, OnePlus 12 users can now choose from a wider selection of custom fingerprint icons and animations that can be accessed by heading to Settings > Home Screen, Lock Screen & Style > More > Fingerprint Animation.

OnePlus 12 -OxygenOS 16.0.9.400

The update also improves the transition animations while opening and switching between applications through Recent Tasks, thereby offering a faster and more fluid multitasking experience.

Regarding its Device Connect feature, users can now remotely lock their connected PC with a single tap. Once the smartphone is remotely connected to the PC, it can also be used to unlock the computer without entering its password.

The OnePlus 12 update changelog is given below.

Home Screen and Lock Screen

Adds more custom fingerprint icons and animations.

Improves transition animations while opening and switching apps through Recent Tasks.

Following the update, OnePlus Pad 3 users can connect the tablet to two sets of Bluetooth earphones simultaneously. The volume level of each connected pair can be adjusted separately, making it easier for two users to listen to the same audio content together.

The Weather app homepage will now display moonrise, moonset, and lunar-phase information, allowing users to keep track of the current lunar cycle.

Speaking more, the Categories view inside the app drawer is getting a new App Suggestions section. It will intelligently highlight frequently used applications to offer faster access.

Just like the OnePlus 12, the update also improves the transition animations while opening and switching applications through Recent Tasks. It further adds the remote PC locking and unlocking functionality.

OnePlus Pad 3 – OxygenOS 16.0.9.400

Regarding its security features, users can now register a backup face for unlocking the tablet. This could help the device recognise the user even when their appearance changes due to glasses, makeup, or similar factors. The option can be accessed through Settings > Security & Privacy > Device Unlock > Face & Fingerprint Unlock > Face > Add Backup Face.

Users can also disable Accessibility permissions with a single tap. If an application installed from an unofficial source attempts to perform a potentially risky action, the tablet will display a warning and allow the relevant permission to be revoked immediately.
