“Anyone who recognises a person who fits the description is asked to phone the Israel Police Hotline 100,” according to the Israel Police.

On Friday morning, Israel Police appealed to the public for assistance in locating the suspect who opened fire on civilians on Tel Aviv’s Dizengoff Street, killing two people and injuring 12.

“The Israel Police is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a male who was spotted near the incident,” the police stated in a statement.

The suspect was described as wearing black clothing and a firearm.

“Anyone who recognises a person who fits the description should contact Israel Police Hotline 100.”
