Airtel users get access to Unlimited 5G Data offer on selected postpaid and prepaid plans for users with a 5G phone and Airtel 5G plus access.
But recently this offer has created a great confusion online.
Some users and various known tipsters on the X platform have shared screenshots online which shows that Unlimited 5G Data offer terms and conditions state that “Sharing of Data where customer has activated the Unlimited 5G Data shall not be allowed via mobile hotspot.”
We already saw reports that Airtel doesn't allow Unlimited 5G data sharing via mobile hotspot.
Now, it is officially mentioned on Airtel's website that mobile hotspot is not allowed on its Unlimited 5G mobile data plan.

Well, when we tried to look at Airtel’s terms and conditions page, we did not find any information regarding this available. Airtel has not clearly stated anything related to Unlimited 5G Data sharing via mobile hotspot.

Though some users online have mentioned that this rule existed since day one, nothing is explicitly confirmed by the telecom company.
In related news, Reliance Jio allows its users for Unlimited 5G Data sharing via mobile hotspot and there is no restriction for Jio users.
