Xiaomi’s Next Redmi K80 Ultra Spotted on the MIIT Certification Platform of China

Xiaomi has already debuted two smartphone models under its Redmi K80 series – Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro back in the month of November 2024 and reports had previously revealed that an ultra model device will also be joining the series later. The Redmi K80 Ultra smartphone from Xiaomi has now made its appearance on the MIIT certification platform. Via the new certification listing, it can also be understood that this upcoming Redmi K80 series smartphone model is possibly nearing its launch date.

Redmi K80 Ultra – MIIT Certification
The upcoming Redmi K80 Ultra smartphone which carries the model number – ‘25060RK16C’ has been certified by the MIIT authority of China with the license number – ’02-B324-251328′. It has been categorized as a 5G digital mobile phone, and is revealed to support specs like 5G/4G/3G/2G network, 5G enhanced mobile broadband technology (eMBB), dual-sim dual-standby, Android operating system, and 5G cross-network roaming functionality. To note, the MIIT certification for the Redmi K80 Ultra is only valid till the 30th of April 2028.
No other further details have been shared via the MIIT database, however previous updates have pointed out that the Redmi K80 Ultra device shares the codename – ‘turner’ with the upcoming Xiaomi 15T Pro and the two are expected to share certain similarities with respect to their specs and features, but also with notable differences too – particularly regarding both the device’s cameras. Additionally, tipster Smart Pikachu also suggested that this year’s Redmi K80 Ultra could be featuring an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner too unlike its predecessor.
Probably, more updates concerning Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi K80 Ultra smartphone may arrive in the coming days, and considering its predecessor’s launch time frame, the expected launch time frame for the Redmi K80 Ultra seems to be quite near.
