Xiaomi 17T’s Global Variant Spotted on Geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 8500, Android 16, and 12GB RAM
The Xiaomi 17T series smartphones are expected to launch soon, as both the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro devices have been appearing on multiple certification platforms for some time. Now, the global variant of the Xiaomi 17T has once again been spotted, this time on the Geekbench database, revealing a few of its performance-related details.

Xiaomi 17T Global Variant – Geekbench Listing
As per the Geekbench AI listing, a smartphone bearing the model number ‘2602DPT53G’ has now appeared, and while the moniker has not been mentioned, previous listings confirm it to be the upcoming Xiaomi 17T. Speaking of the revealed details, the device was running on the Android 16 operating system at the time of testing and is listed with 12GB of RAM. The listing further points out an octa-core processor featuring a single prime core clocked at 3.40GHz, three performance cores at 3.20GHz, and four efficiency cores clocked at 2.20GHz. Additionally, the Mali-G720 MC8 GPU has been revealed via the source code, and based on the core architecture and GPU, it is suggested to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. In terms of performance, the device has achieved scores of 777 in single precision, 858 in half precision, and 1160 in quantized tests.

Looking into previous updates, the Indian variant of the Xiaomi 17T was earlier spotted on the BIS certification platform, while its global variant has also made its appearance on Singapore’s IMDA certification database. Speaking more about its expected specifications, details from the HyperOS codebase suggest that the device may feature camera specifications similar to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 15T. Furthermore, the FCC certification listing revealed that the device could pack a 6360mAh battery (likely to be marketed as 6500mAh) and support 100W wired fast charging, along with OTG-based USB reverse charging. Other revealed features include WCDMA / GSM / LTE / 5G NR network support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth (BR + EDR + LE), NFC, and GNSS (GPS). The same FCC listing also points out that the device will run on HyperOS 3 based on the Android 16 operating system, and two memory variants – 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB – were listed.
