Xiaomi has already teased the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Max smartphone in its home market, China, and has officially confirmed a few key specifications of the device together with its launch date scheduled for the 21st of May 2026. Now, ahead of its official debut, the smartphone has also been spotted on the Geekbench database, revealing additional performance-related details.

Read more about it below.

Xiaomi 17 Max – Geekbench Database Listing

As the launch date is now nearing, this Geekbench-listed unit is likely the final retail version of the smartphone rather than a prototype model, and because of this, similar performance figures can also be expected from the commercial unit after launch.

Moving into the Geekbench details, the Xiaomi 17 Max has appeared carrying the model number “2605EPN8EC”, and the smartphone has managed to score 3750 points in the single-core test while achieving 11674 points in the multi-core benchmark test.

Usually, prototype devices listed on Geekbench do not explicitly reveal chipset details, however, since this is likely the final retail unit, the listing also mentions the chipset codename “QTI SM8850”, which points towards Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The listing further reveals that the chipset features two high-performance cores clocked at 4.61GHz, together with six additional cores operating at 3.63GHz.

Furthermore, the same Geekbench listing also confirms that the smartphone will run on the Android 16 operating system out of the box. The tested variant additionally appeared with 16GB RAM, out of which 14.66GB was shown as usable memory.

While these Geekbench scores are definitely impressive on paper, it will be interesting to see how the Xiaomi 17 Max performs in other benchmark platforms as well, especially whether it will be able to surpass the currently top-ranked iQOO 15 Ultra smartphone in the AnTuTu benchmark rankings for this month, which are expected to be released at the beginning of next month.

Speaking about the previously-confirmed specifications, Xiaomi has already revealed that the Xiaomi 17 Max will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and will pack the brand’s 8000 mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery technology. Additionally, the smartphone is confirmed to feature a 6.9″ Super Pixel display with ultra-low power consumption.

Coming to the camera specifications, the Xiaomi 17 Max is also confirmed to arrive with Xiaomi’s first Leica-branded 200MP primary camera sensor together with a 3x periscope telephoto lens featuring a 1/1.4″ sensor size.

Just to add, the pre-order listing on JD.com has also confirmed that the smartphone will be introduced in Sky Blue, White, and Pixel Black color options.

Stay tuned for more updates.
