Vivo’s T4 Ultra and S20 Pro Smartphones Tipped to be the Same, Featuring Only Minor Tweaks

Followed by the T4 5G and T4x 5G smartphone launches in the Indian market, the Chinese leading consumer electronics maker – Vivo is soon going to introduce its next T4 Ultra smartphone in the country. Now, a new update has arrived revealing that the T4 Ultra and S20 Pro smartphones from Vivo are essentially the same device, but with minor tweaks.

Vivo T4 Ultra and Vivo S20 Pro – Same Device With Two Monikers?

This update comes from an X tipster (@yabhishekhd) and it has been revealed that based on the software versions of the T4 Ultra and S20 Pro smartphones, these two Vivo devices are one and the same with minor tweaks. The Vivo T4 Ultra (PD2430F) is for both the Indian and global consumers and it carries the suffix – ‘F’. On the other hand, Vivo’s S20 Pro (PD2430D) was released for Chinese customers only, and it has the suffix letter – ‘D’.

In the Chinese market, Vivo introduced its S20 series consisting of the S20 and S20 Pro models last year in November 2024, and this month in May 2025 the brand also debuted the S30 and S30 Pro Mini models under the latest S30 series as well. About the T4 Ultra, it has made its appearance on the BIS, Bluetooth SIG, and Geekbench databases.

Speaking more, Vivo’s T4 Ultra smartphone has been teased to offer flagship-level zoom capability (~ 100X TELE LENS), and it will be featuring curved edges, triple rear cameras, LED ring light, and a Black color option. The Geekbench listing also revealed expected specs such as the 3.40 GHz clocked octa-core processor (could be MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ as the S20 Pro uses it), Mali G720 Immortalis MC12 GPU, Android 15 OS (with Funtouch OS 15 on top), and 8GB RAM. Its Bluetooth SIG listing also confirmed a Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.4.

In the coming days, more teaser updates concerning Vivo’s upcoming T4 Ultra 5G can be expected, which could be revealing more about this device. Also to add, since the T4 Ultra and S20 Pro are said to be the same device, similarities in specs can also be expected.
