Speculation started when a publication claimed that Vivo might soon launch the Vivo X200 Pro Mini and X200 Ultra in the Indian market. However, this didn’t make much sense to me since Vivo has always kept its Ultra variant exclusive to China and has never released it elsewhere. Even though Vivo has gained significant traction in the Indian market, I still had my doubts.
Now, a more reliable source, Abhishek Yadav, has confirmed on his X account that Vivo will not launch the X200 Ultra in India. He also mentioned that a Vivo team member confirmed this information. Moreover, Vivo hasn’t even launched the device in China yet, so bringing it to India anytime soon seems unlikely.

As for the X200 Pro Mini, Vivo might launch it in India, but the speculation remains unclear. The tipster didn’t mention anything about the X200 Pro Mini, so there’s no solid evidence yet. If either of these smartphones had appeared on the BIS certification list, the situation would have been different.
For now, we can’t confirm anything. The best approach is to wait for an official announcement or for the devices to show up in global certification listings.
