Vivo V80 Series – India Launch Tipped Along With Key Specs and Expected Pricing
This latest information has been shared on the X platform by tipster Sanju Choudhary, who claims that the upcoming Vivo V80 series is expected to launch in India by mid-August. The use of the phrase “series” also hints that there might be more than one smartphone coming under the Vivo V80 series.
About its revealed key specs, the upcoming Vivo V80 is expected to feature a 6.59” 1.5K flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and it could be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. The device is also tipped to pack a 7200mAh battery backup, along with support for 90W wired fast charging.

For cameras, the smartphone may come equipped with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 3x ZEISS telephoto camera at the rear. A 50MP front-facing autofocus camera can also be expected on the device. Additionally, the tipster has also mentioned a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP68/IP69-rated body, and an aluminium alloy frame for the upcoming smartphone. Looking into the expected specs, the details shared by the tipster match with that of the Vivo V70 smartphone that was launched earlier this year in February in India.
Moreover, he further adds that the pricing of the device is likely to be similar to that of the recently launched Reno 16, whose price starts from INR 61,000. If this turns out to be true, then the Vivo V80 could become one of the most expensive V series smartphones from the brand.
