Vivo BB90 Battery Appears on TUV Certification Platform, Key Details Including 7200mAh Capacity Revealed

A new Vivo battery has now been spotted on the TUV Rheinland certification platform. Via this listing, its battery capacity along with a few additional details have also been revealed.

New Vivo Battery (BB90) – TUV Rheinland Certification

Looking into the certification listing, the new Vivo battery which carries the model number of ‘BB90’ has been certified on the TUV Rheinland platform on the 16th of April 2026, and it has received the certification with the certificate number of ‘JPTUV-186077’. It has been categorized as a ‘rechargeable Li-ion battery’, and it is revealed to feature a rated battery capacity of 7015mAh, along with a typical battery capacity of 7200mAh. Additionally, two country codes of ‘KR’ and ‘SA’ have also been mentioned on the certification platform, suggesting its possible availability in South Korea and Saudi Arabia.

As of now, it is not known which of Vivo’s upcoming devices will be using this battery, however, with future updates, more clarity can be expected.

Looking into some other related updates, two new smartphones – the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE – are likely to launch soon in India, and their teasers have already started appearing on the microsites of Amazon India, Vivo India, and Flipkart.

Speaking more, Vivo is also expected to launch the Vivo Y600 Pro smartphone in its home market China, alongside a new TWS product named Vivo TWS 5i. While the Vivo TWS 5i’s launch has been confirmed for the 26th of April 2026, Vivo is yet to officially confirm the launch date of the Vivo Y600 Pro smartphone.
