Following a previous rumour in which tipster Yogesh Brar claimed that the Vivo S2 smartphone would launch in India during the first week of August, several offline Vivo retailers have already started sharing promotional teasers for the upcoming Vivo S series smartphone.

Vivo S Series India Comeback Teased by Offline Retailers
Starting with the promotional video, YouTube user Nayan Tech Studio has shared the alleged marketing material for the upcoming Vivo S series smartphone. The video carries the phrases, “The comeback you’ve been waiting for is finally here” and “A new era of style, innovation, and flagship design begins soon.”
While the marketing material does not specifically mention the Vivo S2 moniker, it confirms that a new Vivo S series smartphone is coming soon. The words “style, innovation, and flagship design” also suggest that the upcoming handset will likely focus on its design and camera capabilities. Similar promotional material has now been shared by several offline retailers, further pointing towards the nearing launch of the smartphone.
For those unaware, Vivo introduced the Vivo S1 in India in 2019, followed by the S1 Pro and S1 Prime in 2020. This means that the upcoming device will mark the comeback of Vivo’s S series in India after a gap of nearly six years. The mention of the word “Series” in the promo material hints that more models will likely be there, but so far only Vivo S2 has appeared in the rumors.
At the moment, only a “Coming Soon” message has been shared through these promotional materials. Neither Vivo India’s official website nor e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart have listed the upcoming smartphone yet. However, the retailer teasers at least suggest that its official launch could take place soon.
Just a few days back, tipster Yogesh Brar revealed that the Vivo S2 is expected to launch in India in early August and go on sale during the Independence Day sale period. Regarding its pricing, he claimed that the smartphone would be priced under INR 50,000.
Speaking more, the Vivo S2 has already been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform with the model number “V2576.” The same model number previously appeared on the BIS certification database, suggesting that its India launch was already being prepared. An NBD listing also revealed 8GB/256GB as one of its expected memory variants.
