Upcoming iPhone SE 4 tipped to be somewhat similar to iPhone 14 , might make it’s debut next year

According to many speculations and rumors, Apple was working on it’s next-gen iPhone SE series but in January it was reported by Apple’s noted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo that the company was shutting down it’s iPhone SE lineup. According to the analyst’s new report that Apple won’t be shutting down this upcoming lineup.

It is further reported that iPhone SE 4 will be built on the iPhone 14’s chassis and will be more or less the same as the iPhone 14. The device is supposed to have a 6.1-inch OLED display rather than an LCD display and its panel could be manufactured by BOE.

Reportedly, iPhone SE 4 is going to be the first device to feature Apple’s in-house 5G baseband chip, which is said to be made on a 4nm process. This means that there is a high chance that iPhone SE 4 could become a testing ground for Apple for the new chip. It is said to support the Sub-6GHz spectrum.

If the experiment of this new chip in iPhone SE 4 succeeds then Apple might use their baseband chips in iPads and Apple watches. This upcoming smartphone will be the successor to iPhone SE 3

The production of this smartphone is expected to start in the first half of 2024, so Apple users and fans still need to wait a little longer for this phone to be introduced in the market.
